Goal Statement

My goal is to leverage my expertise in product management and educational technology, along with my leadership experience, to create innovative solutions that enhance learning experiences. I aim to develop user-centric platforms that foster engagement and accessibility, ultimately driving educational success for diverse student populations while leading teams towards impactful outcomes.

Leadership Philosophy

My leadership style can be defined as both transformational and situational, focusing on inspiring and motivating my team to achieve their highest potential while adapting to the needs of different situations. I believe in fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where team members feel empowered to contribute creatively. By providing clear vision, strategic direction, and continuous support, I strive to lead by example and cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, responding flexibly to challenges as they arise.

Motivation & Career Ambitions

My motivation stems from a passion for integrating technology into education to solve real-world problems. I aspire to lead initiatives that bridge the gap between technology and education, creating products that not only meet but exceed user expectations. My career ambition is to be at the forefront of educational innovation, driving change that benefits learners and educators alike.

Three year goals timeline:

2022 – 2023
  • Take and pass the School Superintendent Assessment praxis exam
  • Complete year one of Educational Technology Leadership doctoral program
  • Earn a Google Level One certification
  • Network with other EdTech professionals and or students pursuing this degree
  • Begin researching relevant dissertation topics
  • Create an building level digital handbook & building level resource repository
  • Form a Technology Community of educators at JP Steven High School
  • Publish a weekly digital newsletter that includes meaningful information for all stakeholders
2023 – 2024
  • Complete year two of Educational Technology Leadership doctoral program
  • Actively look and apply for suburban area middle school or high school principal positions
  • Actively look and apply for the assistant superintendent position in a moderate size suburban school district
  • Participate & Lead a district wide committee that focuses on AI integration in the classroom
  • Establish a district wide training forum for administrators
2024 – 2025
  • Present at one educational technology conference
  • Graduate from the Educational Technology Leadership Doctoral Program
  • Take on the role of principal, assistant superintendent, or a corporate position at a EdTech based company.
